Product Description

 

5M Timing Pulley is a synchronous pulley designed specifically for medium load and medium speed transmission.

 

Precision transmission: The tooth profile tolerance is controlled within ± 0.008mm (in accordance with ISO level 5 standards), ensuring seamless engagement with the synchronous belt and reducing vibration and energy loss.


High cost-effectiveness: using lightweight aluminum alloy or high-strength engineering plastics to meet the needs of small and medium-sized equipment, balancing performance and cost.


Multi scenario adaptation: Supports standard tooth shapes such as MXL, XL, L and non-standard customization, compatible with synchronous belt types such as polyurethane (PU) and rubber (NBR), suitable for medium speed scenarios such as automated production lines, logistics sorting, printing machinery, etc. (with a maximum speed of up to 8000 RPM).

Raw materials and their applications

 

Main material
Aluminum alloy (such as 6061-T6):
Purpose: Lightweight design (with a density as low as 2.7g/cm ³), suitable for weight sensitive equipment such as 3C electronics and medical instruments.
Performance: Anodizing treatment enhances wear resistance, excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for general industrial environments.

 

Stainless steel (such as SUS304):
Usage: High corrosion resistance scenarios (food processing, chemical equipment), supporting high temperature environments (temperature resistance up to 150 ℃).
Performance: Surface nickel plating or hardened coating treatment enhances rust and wear resistance.

 

Engineering plastics (such as nylon PA66+GF30):
Application: In scenarios where lightweight and high insulation requirements are needed (such as semiconductor equipment and laboratory instruments).
Performance: After glass fiber reinforcement, the tensile strength reaches 140MPa, and it is resistant to chemical corrosion, but it needs to avoid long-term high temperature environments.

 

Surface treatment process
Anodizing (aluminum alloy): thickness 5-20 μ m, improves surface hardness (HV ≥ 150) and wear resistance, suitable for conventional industrial environments.
Nickel/zinc plating (stainless steel): enhances rust prevention ability, suitable for humid or salt spray environments (such as ships, outdoor machinery).
Teflon coating (engineering plastic): reduces friction coefficient, minimizes belt wear, and is suitable for high-speed and low-noise scenarios.

 

Core structure design
Tooth slot optimization: Adopting involute tooth profile and rounded tooth tip design to reduce stress concentration and extend the service life of synchronous belts.
Wheel body wall thickness: Optimized according to load requirements, the wall thickness of medium load models is ≥ 5mm, and the bending stiffness is increased by 20%.

 

Extended functional components
Flange interface: Optional aluminum alloy or engineering plastic flanges are available to meet different installation requirements (such as expansion sleeves and keyways).
Heat dissipation groove: The aluminum alloy version integrates a hollow groove design to improve heat dissipation efficiency and support continuous operation.
