Production process

 

1. Material selection and preparation
Use high-strength steel, aluminum alloy or cast iron as raw materials to ensure that the pulley has good mechanical strength and wear resistance.

Steel is generally made of carbon steel or alloy steel, and aluminum alloy is anodized to improve corrosion resistance.

 

2. Blank forming
Pulley blanks are made by forging, casting or cutting.

Aluminum alloy pulleys are mostly cast or CNC machined, while steel pulleys can be forged or mechanically cut.

 

3. Precision machining
Precision turning of the outer diameter, inner diameter and flange of the pulley to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

Gear milling: Use a special gear hob (such as HSS high-speed steel hob) to mill the pulley tooth profile to ensure that the tooth profile is fully matched with the T20 synchronous belt tooth profile, ensuring meshing accuracy and transmission stability.

Drilling and keyway machining: Machining the center hole, keyway or tapered bushing hole according to design requirements to facilitate pulley installation and fixing.

 

4. Surface treatment
Steel pulleys are usually phosphated or blackened to improve corrosion resistance and surface hardness.

Aluminum alloy pulleys are mostly anodized to enhance wear resistance and oxidation resistance.

 

5. Dynamic balancing and quality inspection
Static or dynamic balancing correction is performed on pulleys with larger sizes or high speeds to ensure smooth operation and reduce vibration and noise.
Multiple tests are performed on size, tooth shape, hardness and surface quality to ensure that the product meets the design standards.

 

6. Packaging and delivery
Qualified pulleys are cleaned and rust-proofed before being packaged to prevent damage or rust during transportation.
